Yoga Naharah

When Marta isn't teaching Yoga she spends time working in the digital media field.  New and old avenues of technology have always been a keen interest of hers  from old 8mm cameras to the latest social media apps. Follow her on Twitter @YogaNaharah or on Facebook go to: Yoga Naharah page and press LIKE! Instagram: YogaNaharah....

When not glued to the computer there is always  time to enjoy one of her favorite past times with her beloved four-legged furry companion. Hiking on the trails of Griffith Park ranks in the top ten favorites. With dog in tow, she'll see you on the mat or on the hill!

Marta has been practicing Yoga for over 18 years. Her first Yoga class was in 1998, but a back injury in 2002 was the catalyst to begin a daily practice that eventually progressed into teaching. Her passion for Yoga combined with experience has led to the creation of  Yoga Naharah. As a Yoga Educator she strives to provide Yoga to individuals  of all abilities and disabilities. The result she seeks for all of her Yoga students is to have a strong practice that leads to a happy and healthy lifestyle. The goal is to live relatively  pain free without reliance on medication.

Her teacher training began in 2011 at Exhale Center for Sacred Movement with Annie Carpenter. There she earned her 200 hour Yoga Alliance credentials. In 2013-14 she completed 300 hour Yoga teacher training at Yoga At The Village with Elyse Briggs and Carl Dawson.

Her training continues as she is currently enrolled in the Loyola Marymount University Yoga Therapy Rx program for clinical certification.
